The dark ruby, semi-sweet Kindzmarauli is characterized by the aromas of
blackberries, black pepper, marmalade and tropical fruits, all balanced in
harmony on the nose. The palate is treated to ripe, velvety tannins, a dense body
and invigorating acidity that leaves a silky, prolonged finish.
Pair with fruit cake or meat dishes served with sweeter sauces for a terrific
match.

Made from 100% Saperavi grapes, native to Georgia – and specifically Kakheti –
wines have been produced in the Kindzmarauli appellation for nearly 100 years.

Askaneli is a name steeped in wine history, originating from the magical village of
Askana in Guria where the family’s old cellar still sits nearly 150 years on. Truly
handed down through the family, they adhere strictly to the appellation’s
standards and rules in the production of this wine, earning it’s SVA stamp.
