The pale straw color the Rkatsiteli varietal produces offers a bouquet of ripe 
apple, pear, white currant, and lemon zest. It has a refreshing feel, delicate, fruity, 
and with hints of white garden fruits and citrus.

This dry white pairs well with white meat, spicy dishes, hearty salads, and fish 
dishes.

As it’s a grape variety with high acidity, the producers harvest the vines as late as 
possible to maximise it sweetness and avoid tartness.

Rkatsiteli (or red horn) is one of several varietals this winemaker produces and 
leads the way in not only the village of Kindzmarauli, but also Kakheti as a region, 
with the modern technology used in their winemaking processes.
